Solo run glitch

I was playing through the early part of a solo run with a mawile and caught a Durant in midna garden. I expected it to be sent to my PC, but it didn't. It stayed in my party and I beat a paras with it. I couldn't deposit it in the PC since I was in a solo run and couldn't access it. I then soft reset back to before I caught the durant as to not ruin my solo run.
