Darker story DNA change bug

In the darker story mode, when I've got the DNA of the Darkrai Cultist, I tried to transform into it and I noticed that the actual sprite of the cultist appears only for one frame, then it returns into the normal sprite but with the same abilities of the cultist... I don't know if I am the only one that has this problem, so I don't know if it can be resolved without an update or not... ..please help me...
I can confirm this happened to me. Didn't impact the play of the game but yeah I noticed the cultist sprite didn't stick around.
