Summit Badge Unobtainable/ can't enter Cave of Steam

Okay first off i'm going to point out that this same EXACT issue was reported over a YEAR ago by someone else and absolutely NO MODS even responded to it. I'm sorry but that's a little ridiculous considering the fact that this shit is game breaking. I just redownloaded the game today after more than a year, and I assume I must have lost to the Augur the first time I fought him which could have been what caused this. I beat him today and when Damien came up and destroyed the Crystal he didn't give me the Will, the Badge, Or Aerial Ace. and whenever I go back up to the gym, he comes up the stairs and blocks my exit, so I can't get out and when i go to the top of the tower the Augur isn't there. So basically at that point I either have to restart the game, or sit there with my thumb in my ass.. either way there is NO WAY I can continue..
