Game keeps crashing after creating Character

I just downloaded the game today and every time I try to start, I can only get as far as finishing character creation. As soon as I get to the part where I'm in my room, the game will just stop working. I've tried downloading the core game and using the launcher and repairing but the same thing keeps happening.
