An egg I bought in Metchi Town crashes my game

I cross the bridge to fight Nora & the game crashes when she's about to summon her first Pokémon. I had the idea that maybe the egg was involved so I tried putting it in the PC, but the same thing happens with a slightly different error message. I thought maybe hatching it would solve the problem, but nay. My character says the "Oh something's happening" message. I've attached a screenshot of when I tried depositing or moving the egg, when I tried hatching it & when I tried battling Nora, respectively.

Update: So maybe the first glitch wasn't because of the egg. I made a file on slot three & didn't buy the egg, but the my game still crashes when I try to battle Nora in the exact same spot. I'll add the error code, but it's the same.

This looks like a permission error, run the game as admin and see if that resolves it
