Nuzlocke Reviving

I was in the Midna Town Trainer School and I entered the battle with a dead kangaskhan in the back. I went to swap out and i see that my kangaskhan is revived. I then had an extra pokemon that i wasn't using, a wynaut in my pc. I killed it, went to the center and it didn't revive, confirming i was on nuzlocke.
