Work Up

So basically, in the Level Trainer, I use Work Up with my Pancham while the Audino uses Healing Wish, but Work Up fails (Audino is faster), saying that there was "no target". But isn't Work Up a move that affects the user? I don't know if this bug happens when other Self-KO moves are used (like Memento and Selfdestruct) or with other user-affecting moves, but it's pretty annoying.
