Servers are ok, but game crashing when I try to go online

Hey, so, when I try to go online, it crashes... the game says that I should check if the servers are up, and they are, so I dont really know whats wrong... game version is 1.1.8, and im on a Mac. Anyone got any idea of whats going on? thank you!
