Crashing when entering a battle as an infernal cultist

Tried redownloading and reunzipping to no avail.

Don't know what the problem is but i can't progress from the infernal base as a result

i'm on 1.2.1 by the way, and i've tried multiple downloads from both google drive and torrenting
