Calreath Gym Battle Freeze

So I succeeded in starting the Calreath gym battle, but accidentally closed the game during the fight. Now, whenever I try to start the battle, the game freezes immediately before the battle starts. Apparently the script is overloaded, but I am not running any sprite packs or anything that should cause script lag, and again, I did succeed getting into the battle once.

EDIT: So I was able to get it to work by, turning off my laptops Wi-Fi? What the deal there?
