Losing to cult leader multiple times forces him to freeze during the talk

So if you lose multiple (3+) times to the Infernal cult leader, he just stands there and freezes and you can't move. This talk is before a battle (I tend to save every time I can so if i f12 I can directly get back to the battle) but now that it is frozen I am stuck here.
