Cannot progress or heal pokemon in centers

After defeating taen in no man's land, I stopped being able to heal at normal pokemon centers. Instead I receive the message "Hello, and welcome to the Pokémon Center" and then the dialogue ends with nothing happening. and because I cant heal I cannot receive the notification to continue through this section of postgame.

Adding that I think it may be somehow thinking I have 0 pokemon in my party as when I go to Telnor Town it tries to stop me from exiting normally and says that it is dangerous to go out without a pokemon.

I have this isssue as well, though it happened to me after I battled Groudon, Heatran, and Volcanion, so what ever this bug is, it can happen in different sections.

I got this bug/blocker after beating Taen in that temple too. It happened in the 1.2.2 version if I remember correctly. Patched to the following versions but nothing changed.
