Infinite Latias

When I went to catch Latias, the battle went completely fine, but once I got out of the battle, I see that Latias's over-world sprite hasn't disappeared. Being curious like I am, I backed up my save from before the battle and then interacted with the sprite again. Lo and behold, it triggers the battle again. Being more curious, I ran away and the sprite stayed still. I kill it and it still doesn't disappear. Then I go to the Insurgence server and download the latest trial of the 1.2.3 patch (1.2.3.6) and the Latias sprite still won't go away after battle. No matter what, it won't go away. I'll include my save from right before I battled the initial Latias should it be useful for testing in the patching process.
