Pokemon Following Bug/Gender Bug

When I got my Female Delta Bulbasaur as a starter, its following sprite was invisible/not there. However, I knew it was still following me cause I could interact with it. When I pressed O, it was still there with the invisible sprite. When I left the lab and got into Telnor Town, it was still the same. However, when I went inside the Pokemon Center in Telnor, the sprite was completely fine. I didnt test to see if the Remove Follower button would work, but I'm assuming it would've. Then, when I healed my Bulbasaur, the male sprite was used until I left the Pokemon center. When I left, the sprite was female and fully working.
