Line 196 Error

I have no idea what to title this, but when I go passed the starting screen, I get this error:

Script 'PokemonLoad' line 196: NoMethodError occurred.

undefined method '+' for nil: NilClass

I have no idea what it's about, but I do remember being in Ultira Town before exiting the game. I can't play the game at all, as long as this error pops up.

I got it after I tried battling the elderly woman in the library. It didn't register her as a trainer and then it quit the game. I can't get in now.
