Perfection Base Cutscene Glitch

I'm just walking through to the Perfection Base to do Orion's quest, and as Reukra starts to leave, my game simply freezes and just stays that way. I attempt to soft reset the game, and I still manage to, but upon opening it back up, I'm still stuck in this same position no matter what I do, even though I had not saved before entering the base. I'm so confused and require some help.
