Can't leave room with Rayquaza in postgame

During the event that requires Groudon and Kyogre in the party, I saved in the room where Rayquaza is and I can't get out by any means. I tried walking all over the platform but the exit doesn't work.

Walk on the first step then try to interact with the second step of the stairs, it should work
