Upload and finding Bases issue on pokemon insurgence

I am currently running through Pokemon insurgence on normal mode with my roommate and we have noticed multiple problems with secret bases

We cannot upload bases and get constant error messages
My roommate has no Pokemon in his friend safari while I have only one (Amaura)
We can't go to each other's bases
Sometimes when using the speed up button and exiting the base you go straight through the wall.
(Edit) I just noticed that dexnav's search function does not work within my friend safari and I'm not sure if it's supposed to or not.
