Game freezes when going into the fight with east and stays like this

I don't know what version im on as I can't find the launcher but i did download this maybe a month or two ago. I'm also stuck in speed up in the game which may have to do with it. I can also not create a new game as it has the same speed up button on a black screen and says script hanging.

I have the exact same issue! Every time I load game, it loads to the point before the East battle where the game froze. I tried changing battle style to set, but that didn't work for me either.
