delta venusaur

for some reason, my delta venusaur that I got through m egglocke challenge has no overworld sprite and just shows the last Pokemon that was in the front slot but when I talk to him it has the delta venusaur cry and says his name in the text

This has been happening to me too. Sometimes the sprite will load, sometimes it won't, and sometimes a different party Pokemon's sprite will appear in its place when it should be Delta Venusaur's. (Mine is female though)
