Cannot use Mew Abilities after getting stuck in Battle Frontier

I tried starting the Pyramid in the Battle Frontier and the game crashed because of hanging script. It autosaved and on restart I was stuck in a way with my following mon on top of me. Somehow it still gave me the option to battle trainers. Thinking I could just white out and escape the glitch I intentionally whited out and ended up back at a pokemon center. However, since then I no longer have a following pokemon and none of the mew abilities work, preventing me from progressing in anymore post game quests. Resetting does not help.
