Can't Start the game

Upon launching insurgence, it goes through the beginning animation of the toilet bowl and wingull flying through the air, and as soon as the camera pans down to the ground near the pokemon center, a message appears saying "Script 'Scene_Map' line 221: No methodError occured. Undefined method "pokegear" for nil:NilClass. Please fix

Redownloading the game seemed to fix my problem, can't wait to dive in! :)
