Error message after winning a battle with recoil damage

I found this bug when I was at the Jade tower with a Randomizer. And my pokemon (Honchkrow) was at low health so an eevee with Double-Edge finished me off and at the same time fainted himself. But the game counts this as a win. But then when I walked infront of the next Sky Cultist the game gave an error that I had to reset the game.
