Entering the pokemon league

Hi, I have been looking around and i cant see anyone else with a similar issue, so here is mine. It is pretty bad as it stops me from going further in the game, I am about to go into the pokemon league i never have before and when i talk to the guy in the entrance he gets me to save and once i saved the game stops working and crashes once the text telling to use the v short-cut to save and the game crashes. When i open the game again, i get stuck in front of the guy and cant move or do anything. I already had a similar issue once that i fixed by using a backup file, i did that this time and the same thing happens afterwards.

Its pretty annoying because i feel like im close to ending the game, is there any one with a solution for this? I have uploaded my save file here just in case.
