Invisible block

After defeating Damian for the first time in the professor's lab(I chose Eevee). I ran towards the door directly and there was an invisible block (two steps above the door) there that stops me from going into that block from all directions. I went outside and back into the lab and now I can run through that previously blocked off spot.
