Infernal Base glitch 1.2.6 and 1.2.7 (not faint glitch)

The cutscene here which says “Don’t move!” then your character has an ! above their head happens then I’m locked into place and cant progress any further. Tried both 1.2.6 and 1.2.7.

I also am having problems with this but I don't think there is a way to fix it so the game is actually unplayable. I played through the game twice to see if this was a one time thing but it happened again so I think it just doesn't work now which has now officially wasted about 50 hours of my life.
