Choice Band problem

This one is different from the Choice Band bug that someone else experienced. While the other guy got theirs as an Egglocke item and couldn't use any moves, I bought mine from the hidden shop in Murk Forest. When I gave it to my Delta Muk, it was able to use any move, even after having already selected one previously. I cannot determine whether or not it gave me an Attack boost. I also do not know whether or not the other Choice items have the same problem.

Edit: After some testing, this appears to only occur if I switch out from a different Pokemon without that Pokemon fainting.

How to replicate:
Step 1: Give someone a Choice Band. I don't think it matters which one. I gave it to Delta Muk.

Step 2: Put a different Pokemon at the front of your party and go into a battle.

Step 3: Switch to your Choice Band user. You will be allowed to use any move.

Step 3.5: Let your first Pokemon faint before switching to the Choice Band user. It will work properly. It also works properly if your Choice Band user was at the front of your party.
