Trick + Armor

Using Trick against a pokemon with armor (in my case Tyranitar Armor) doesn't seem to do anything to it - the sprite for it doesn't change, and as far as I know the stats don't change either.

(On a side note, I found it utterly hilarious that Diana used trick to give my Tyranitar a choice scarf which then proceeded to outspeed and sweep her entire team).
