Mac issue: Game closes after I open it :(

So, I havent played Insurgence after I beat the demo so now that 1.1 is here, I decide to open it up and play it but it's not working. I open the app and I see the app on the dock but there is no screen. Then, in a few seconds, the app just disappears from the dock. In other words, the gane doesn't even start
