Female trainer's hair changes colour

I'm using the trainer to the far left when you start. I decided to buy some blue hair dye to fit my own and it changed it to purple. Only when I run is it the blue colour. It also spazzes in between the two on occasion. In the screenshot I am running to show that I have blue hair. When i'm standing still it reverts to the purple colour.
