Scald burns through Substitute

Scald hit (and broke) my pokemon's substitute, but it was burned (even though it shouldn't be).

This happened during the Abyssal Cult fight in the Abyssal Base. The pokemon using Scald was Lanturn and the Pokemon behind a Substitute was Alakazam.
