East's Will bug

Currently I'm on 1.1.4 (in Hekate Town, in fact), but I defeated East in 1.1.2 (or earlier, I forgot, but it was definitely before 1.1.3).
The thing is, I never received East's Will. East only gave me his badge and TM. I've heard that apparently it was Damian who is supposed to give me East's Will, but he never gave me the item either. As a result, I cannot obtain Altarianite.
I've tried talking with the lawyer, just in case it was an "invisible item", but the lawyer acts normally, as if I didn't bring the item with me.
Help please?
