Mew tranformation doesn't work

1. I entered the room with the blood of the cultist member on Dark story mode and interacted with it
2. I switched to light story mode (i was curious if the blood would still be there(it was))
3. I asked mew to transform me (while in light story mode), it played the animation but didn't transform me
4. i siwtched back to dark story mode, tried to transform again, animation played but no transformation

this is completely visuel, the transformation itself still worked as you can see by the picture
