Delta Grimer Evolution Bug

When my Delta Grimer evolved its ability changed from sand stream to regurgitate which is its hidden ability. Since hidden abilities can only be gotten from friend safaris where delta pokemon aren't the I am not supposed to have it. The descripton is weird and I am not sure if the ability does anything.
