Mac issues playing game

my save updated and I'm sure because I can change difficulty but when I leave samsora cave to route 5 and try to head west the game crashes. I've tried multiple times and the error keeps happening. It says Game.exe has encountered a serious issue and needs to close. It then says it might be an issue with the program or with wineskin.
