Parental Bond does not work properly in certain situations. For example, when Marowak uses Bonemerang, the second hit does less damage than the first even though multi hit moves are not affected by Parental Bond. When using Thrash, Marowak experiences confusion immediately after the attack treating the second hit as the second turn using Thrash. "A critical hit!" is displayed twice when one of the hits is a crit.
adding onto this: using rock tomb only slows down the opponent once, despite it being a 100% chance to slow down the opponent every time and should be thus treated as causing a -2 post-parental-bond.
mega-marowak is a bit of a mess right now, solely because a lot of what should be its best moves (parental bonded bonemerang should be one of the core things that makes it better than other physical ground moves) simply aren't working how they should be working
