Mac El Capitan Startup Issue

The message that pops up on OSX El Capitan: X11 message: "Failed to activate core devices." The app promptly closes and disappears from dock.

I've been having issues with this as well. I'm thinking it's just an issue with OS X and X11 not quite getting along during this beta period. What you can do is, with the Insurgence app, right-click then click "Show Package Contents" then go drive_c > Program Files > Pokemon Insurgence 1.1 > Game.exe

Be warned though that it does crash every couple of minutes, usually during transition periods i.e. after battles or location changes like up/down a ladder or in/out a building, so save often (V to quicksave is your friend!). Half considering reverting to a TM backup of Yosemite and seeing if that works.

I've been having problems with this too, opening the .exe file that jim suggested doesn't work :(
