unlimited vip passes

I've obtained the vip pass back when it was a normal item and have received the key item vip pass in a later update. Now when I tried to store the normal item vip pass in the pc it worked but also left 1x vip pass in my normal item bag. That pass could not be stored as well and when I spoke to the taxi guy again he gave me another vip pass. After that I was able to store the vip pass again and repeat the cycle (I currently have 4x vip pass in the pc.) During all of this I had a vip pass in the key item bag but the taxi guy didn't seem to care about that one.
