Histogram colour channels separate when contrast stretch applied and 'Auto Align' enabled

Issue #13 resolved
Paul Shears repo owner created an issue

This issue was mentioned on issue #11 and has been split into a separate issue to track investigation.

It has been reported that the colour channels separate on the display processing histogram despite the auto align feature being enabled.

This was observed on the V3.3 BETA test builds on OSX platform.

Replicated this issue with CYGM FITS data of M27. Mean stacked 5 exposures and the red colour channel separated out from the green and blue. This did not happen on V3.2 baseline.

This issue has been fixed by changes to the histogram processing It was introduced into the V3.3 development branch as a result of the changes to the histogram processing which resulted in only calculating the approximate histogram peak. Therefore when histogram stretch is applied it is applied centred around an approximate peak therefore causing the colour channel split.

The code has been reworked to provide the true peak but retain the characteristics which prevent the histogram saturation issue in V3.2.
