Linux server ignores stdin

I cant get any input into the server for any console command.

Ingame scmd commands work fine, but running the server in screen or plain consoles doesn't work. The input is just ignored.

Also, streaming text to /proc/$PID/fd/0 doesn't help.

This is a major issue because to administer the server, fill ipbans etc I have to join the server, but it's often completely full.

Is this working in retail or original SEC?

I agree this would be a great feature, but i think its an enhancement and not a bug.

Btw, beta 5 adds a new reserved slots feature which will allow you to always keep a slot open for admins (if you choose)

So the server does not support commands from stdin in any way, and the original retail did not support as well? Maybe there are special file descriptors?
