Players survival inventories revert if they log off while in Creative

I'm going to go step-by-step with screenshots explaining this bug.

For details about versions/my server scroll to the end.

Here is my original inventory on login:

I then toss a fair portion of the items in my inventory into fire/lava:

Next I switch into creative mode using /gmc (or another alias):

I then disconnect and log back in:

After logging back in here is my inventory:

As you can see my inventory was restored to what it was previous, the issue is that this can cause loss of items or be used to duplicate any survival items a player owns.

My server is running Paper-Spigot 1.14.4 version 131

I am using RestrictedCreative version 2.2.1

I'm unsure if this bug is specific to 1.14.4 or if it is present in 1.14.3 as well but it is a critical bug that is absolutely game breaking.

I found an error that’s posted in console when someone logs out that is associated with RestrictedCreative:

Fixed in the next version.
