Default severity, category and sorting

Hi maestro!

An idea / request

When I add a Syslog card standard flows, the default entries for severity is 'Emergency', and for category it is 'Kernel'

I never use both, so is it possible to define the default entries in app settings for instance?

I use 'info' and 'flow' most of the time.

Second, is it possible to sort the dropdowns?

For Severity maybe from informational to severe, like, info to emergency

For Category just from A-Z I think.

No, this can only be fixed in the App.json.

And right now, the default value is empty, which i want to keep.

But in the Homey App, with default flows, it get’s filled with the first option.

This is a bug in my eyes, and should be fixed by Athom.

But because optional arguments were added later, it is still not taken into the Homey App that it could be empty by default.

I believe the new Homey App does take this in account.

Confirmed, the new v7.x app standard flow editor shows empty Severity and Facility boxes when adding a SSL log card

BUT the card isn’t saved with the flow, UNLESS I pick a value for both the fields… you can view a screenvid at this SSL forum topic post.

Not sure if it is a Homey 2019 only issue.

Agreed the card with empty sev. and cat. fields, that can't be saved, is an Athom issue
