Enegymeeter for Virtual measurment

I added a virtual meter for measuring total energy consuption. I chose a virtual energy meter as device. Then creating a flow to transfer my energy to meter. I field to add sensor I tried to find capabilites for energy. There are only measure for power, current and voltage.

I tried to add a virtual device for current (see flow attachment), and added measure_current in field for Sensor. That work well. Disavatage is that virtual sensor then show unit A insted of kWh.

What do I do wrong?

You would need measure_power for Watt.

But you need meter_power for kWh.

Not sure if the Virtual Dives has it…

A, yes, but not sure how it’s called in english, but there is a measure power and a power meter.

You need the power meter.

But, may i advise you install the Device Capability App and than create a Advanced Virtual Device.

It’s more easy once you get how it works.

Here is a TEF file you can import during the creating of a new AVD, with the right field selected!
You can even have it reflect the fields of devices directly, no need for flows.
