When adding a virtual thermostat: tick the 'measure temperature' box by default

Maybe it is an enhancement:

The ‘Measure temperature’ box isn’t ticked when a virtual thermostat is created, only ‘Target temperature’; Shouldn’t that box be ticked by default?
While most thermostats have a settable temperature ánd a temperature sensor?
