A virtual temperature/humidity sensor gets on creation 'setable false' capability
A Virtual Device temperature/humidity sensor gets in a Homey Pro 2023 setting out-of-the-box ‘setable false' capability and so the temperature cannot be changed remotely by the 'setCapabilityValue()’ API call.
And this ‘setable’ attribute seems also itself not to be changable.
So I cannot actively update the temperatures/humidities within my Homey initiated from my existing bluetooth based sensors network already in place in my house.
Thanks, Arie, for the support !!

repo owner Indeed, sorry, you cannot.
And i cannot change it (just tried it).
However, you can create an Advanced Virtual Device from the Device Capabilities app.
There you can then set the value through the API.
See the Forum if you have any questions.

reporter Many thanks, Arie, I created indeed a Virtual Device temperature/humidity sensor. The valuesof such a Virtual sensor can also not be set remotely. But I created for each temperature/humidity ‘Values’ that can be manipulated remotely. And with an advanced flow ‘on change of value’ I have connected these Values to the associated Virtual Device setting. Thanks again

Hey, i will look into it, but it’s gonne be next week on the earliest.
Plus, i am hassetend about changes specific HP2023 changes, the might be reverted by Athom.
Not sure if this helps, but do you know the Advanced Virtual Device from the Device Capabilities app.
They are fully configurable.
