"Budget"

The current "budget" information is to my mind not particularly useful.

  1. It's an Excel spreadsheet. You don't find many Excel documents on the web, for good reasons. An HTML rendition would be best; a PDF would be better than the current format.
  2. It contains no information about the date and time it refers to, who produced it and why, whether it's an official part of the club accounts or a hypothetical budget produced under some random assumptions or other, etc. It needs more context.
  3. What happens when a new budget is produced? Do we just replace the page on the website and assume that members have no interest in the historical data?

Finally what about all the other reports (financial and otherwise) that the committee generates for distribution at AGMs and other events?

    I have no problem with that, but I think the question of how to present an indeterminate number of club documents to logged-in members could do with some thought independently of what Mitch wants members to be able to access in terms of club financial information...
