Batoto Downloader v3.3 and 3.4 don't open or work
I had v3.3 and it worked fine. I downloaded newest version of Java (8) and 3.3 quit working. I get the following error:
Error: Unable to access jarfile C:\Users\iwaki\AppData\Local\Temp\B1FreeArchiver-{302dcd17-67f3-46c8-808c-697bc9c2aca9\Batoto.jar
When I tried to open it with WinRAR, nothing happened at all.
I downloaded version 3.4 thinking I needed the update. But I get the same error message, but with a different string of numbers & letters after the B1FreeArchiver part. Again, nothing happens when I try to open it with WinRAR.
I don't understand what happened. It was working great until I downloaded Java 8.
Help please.

reporter I extracted the two files, the EXE and the JAR files, to a folder I created for them. Then I double clicked the EXE file, but nothing happened at all.

repo owner Mmm, very weird, JAVA should be retrocompatible so I don't think that upgrading it can broke the support for the app.
Let's try this then: open a cmd window inside the folder where you extracted the program files (hold SHIFT on keyboard and do a right click inside the folder, then from the menu choose the option "Open Command Window Here") and type inside it
java -jar Batoto.jar
This should launch the program or show you some detailed error. Let me know the results
P.s.: did you reboot your PC after upgrading JAVA?

repo owner Ehm, I think you forgot to attach the screenshot or paste the error message ^^'

reporter I did put it in there, but I guess dragging and dropping doesn't really work in yahoo like it does in gmail. Here's what I got (hope it attaches this time):

I'm sorry Red Squirrel. I was overtaken by work. I didn't get back to you after your last post because I didn't know how else to share my screenshots and I was able to get my old laptop working that has v3.3 on it, which always worked on my old laptop. For some reason v3.3 and v3.4 won't on my new laptop. I don't know why; that's tech stuff waaaaay over my head. So, the v3.3 is what I've been using on my old laptop, and I'm okay with that. If I have trouble again or if my old laptop takes a dive and I have to use my new laptop again, I'll come back to seek your help. Right now I just don't have the time to deal with it now with my work schedule. Thank you again for all of your help thus far and sorry for leaving you hanging for so long.

You have to extract the files from the archive before to run it (don't launch it directly from WinRAR). Extract the two files on any folder of your PC and be sure that there is the JAR file in addition to the EXE wrapper in the same folder when you launch it:
The EXE file is just a wrapper so it can not work if it does not find the JAR file (that's the main program).
