Separate window mode
Issue #1
new
On chrome I used to launch the client as a desktop app (chrome --app), and it ran on it's own standalone window. It would be nice if you could do this with the firefox version, since it's the best way of using hotot imho.

reporter Don't know about extension internals, but old twitter apps like Echofon used to create a separate window. There are other extensions (like SQLite Manager) that are complete apps that spawn from firefox. I think they're XUL apps or something like that. But this uses a different api, right?
edit: looks like this is how it's done: https://hacks.mozilla.org/2012/05/desktop-apps-with-html5-and-the-mozilla-web-runtime/

This is an issue related to the browser, if Firefox does not support the standalone window for apps/extensions you should ask to Mozilla devs to introduce it, xD
Or are you saying me that Firefox supports this feature but it does not work only with Hotot+? I ask this because I don't use Firefox, so I really don't know if it supports such a feature or not, sorry ^^"
