the mod not appearing in my mods menu

idk why but for some reason the mod doesn't do anything to my Minecraft. it's as if i didn't add anything. i'm using 1.18 forge optifine, the game doesn't crash or say any errors at all. i have other mods running normally on my minecraft (23 mods)
