[1.18.1] Crash on game mode change

Whenever I switch my game mode to spectator (tested using F3+F4 menu in Creative) the game will crash as long as the mod is on, meaning this won't happen when the selected option in the radial menu is “Disable“. The same thing happens when you click on one of the buttons in the radial menu while in spectator mode.
